Testimonials

Quite often when I read testimonials on websites, I find myself wondering if  ’John from Marlow’ (for example) actually wrote the words, and I was skeptical of having a testimonial section to the website.

However, recently a few of my Brides and Grooms have offered their words of support and I’m now proud to share the first of many.

Dear Daniel

I have been meaning to do this for so long but after to getting pregnant straight after our wedding my mind has been all over the place. 

Firstly I would like to truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for becoming our friend & giving us your services for the day as a present after meeting our youngest daughter Isla & knowing we had struggled & had a rough time dealing with Isla’s heart condition & her open heart surgery. 

You are truly a very generous , kind man. 
You made us both feel so comfortable from the moment we first met you, I am not a lover of the camera but you made me feel happy & relaxed firstly at our engagement shoot & by the time the big day came round I loved being in front of the camera, think the make up & the dress helped there. 

We love our photos & can’t wait to get our photo book. Looking forward to our next meeting for a bump shoot to be followed by a newborn shoot. We’re saying that you will be our family photographer forever booking you in now for the christening, holy communions, the girls graduation & what ever life brings!! 

Thank you again for everything, it truly means so much. 

I will never forget that phone call of you offering your services , the tears i cried & the feeling of knowing there are still truly kind, generous caring people out there & now we can call a person like that a good friend.

“Wow!” – If we had to choose one word to sum up 31 Down photography, that would be it. If we were allowed others, they would include “friendly, natural, fun, professional, quality, perfect, artist and passionate…” 

We contacted Daniel after checking out the of the style of photography evident from his website, and after the first conversation we knew we had to have him for our wedding photographer – his natural, friendly manner put us at ease from the start.

We cannot thank Daniel and his team enough for the fantastic job they have done in preserving our wedding day memories. We can honestly say that we could not have had a better photographer than Daniel. He has a knack of judging people, balancing banter and tact perfectly, in order to capture the moment in all its subtlety. 

Finally, the quality of the finished product, our wedding album is second to none. 

The question of the photography budget is going to be individual to every couple, but for us, with 31 Down we certainly feel that they were worth every penny.

“The fact that we are writing this before receiving our photos’ really say’s it all about Daniel.

When we first met him he had not long started out but made us feel at ease straight away. We had no doubt that he was the right photographer for us, to be able to feel so relaxed with someone straight away is a huge bonus. I know I am not the easiest person to work with as I absolutely hated (past tense now thanks to Daniel!) having my photo taken and would delete/hide any I saw. We now can’t wait to see all the photo’s of our special day.

Daniel and Donna are the perfect photographers!

After searching through literally every photographer in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and London we were delighted to find them!

They capture the special and the not so special moments with the utmost professionalism and ease of old friends. This is what really makes the photos fantastic- their personalites shine through all the photos and eminate an easy going attitude which in turn makes for great images. 

They even went to the expense of a magical midnight confetti shot as a suprise which was truly fantastic and made my wedding album!

Daniels flexilbilty was also hugely appreciated, with timings, locations etc. The presentation book is also FANTASTIC! Well worth the fee for a lifetime of the happiest memories.
